Math Research Project

Volume of a Hot Tub/ "Spa"

Hot Tub/ "Spa" Question

First question of the day.

-What's the difference between a cake and a spa? You can't eat it-Zack.

Mr. biggmaxx wanted us to find the answers to assignment 2 question B, part A, B, and C and answer them in cubic feet and cubic inches.

Important Question for part A; Should we vinyl the bottom of the spa?

Well make an assumption

Assume NO vinyl of the bottom.

We need to remember that there is four inches all the way around the outside of the spa. Remember that the height of the Spa isn't 3'6'' for the bottom is four inches thick making the height 3'10'.

Watch out for the 19 minute mark. Biggmaxx started quoting Lord of the Rings.

For those who didn't do the homework do part B) & part C).
